An International Guide to Patent Case Management for Judges was released on WIPO’s website.

Mr. Shitara, the Chairman of our firm, involved in this project as the coordinator of the Japanese Patent Litigation Part, with the cooperation of judges from Tokyo District Court, scholars, the Director-General of Trial and Appeal Department at JPO, and attorneys from various law firms.

As a comprehensive and accessible guide to the different stages of patent adjudication in ten leading patent jurisdictions, it will be a most valuable resource for judges and other actors in patent litigation across the IP ecosystem.
